2018 is just a few hours away so this blog post is an insight on what you can expect from my blog for the next twelve months. An incredible amount of planning has gone into my blog so I hope it shows. I’ve had many ideas but narrowed it down to just a few that I think you will enjoy and will fit the intentions of the blog. Without further ado, here’s what to expect next year.
Book of the month: I’ve always been a keen reader so whilst I may not be feeling up to more physical activities because of my surgery I will have plenty of time to read. With that in mind I’ll be introducing you to a new book every month and giving reasons why I enjoyed it. I’ll be aiming to cover a variety of genres so that it suits everyone.
Post-op Updates: for those of you who don’t have kyphosis or scoliosis I can foresee you becoming quite bored if I bombard my blog with post after post about my surgery and how I’ve been feeling, however I think it’s important that a do post about it for those whom need someone to relate to. Post-op updates will be limited to once a month to keep a balance between informative and boring.
QUIRK posts: introducing QUIRK posts! Once a month a blog post will be dedicated to a fun story about myself. The idea came from Facebook’s new question feature, so I’ll take a completely random question each month and tell you a fun story behind it. The idea being that keep my anonymity but you get to know who I am.
Days out: this won’t be a consistent feature as for a few months I’ll be focusing on recovering but after that I’ll be posting about a day out I’ve had throughout the month. Sharing the pros, cons, and whether or not I think it’s worth going.
Other ideas: amongst the 4 main ideas I will be posting recipes, top tips for certain topics, posts about national events and of course #blogmas. These ideas won’t be as consistent as they’re not the main intentions of my blog but they will be ever present.
2018 is going to be jam-packed full on interesting posts so I hope to see you all on the other side. I welcome any ideas, questions and comments, and any criticisms too. Let’s make 2018 a great year for blogging!
Love to you all x
